The Weight-Mate by Granger Plastics, is a unique product, which allows the user the ability to gain traction by simply installing the Weight-Mates into the bed of their pick up truck.  This will provide up to 500 pounds of weight, distributed over the rear axle, providing a major increase in traction during inclement weather, such as snow, ice or rain.  It can also be used for traction in loose surface conditions such as gravel and sand. 

The Weight-Mate provides much better support than the conventional ideas of just adding messy sandbags or concrete cinder blocks to the bed of a truck, without the added worry of safety issues.  At only 6" in height, it allows for nearly complete use of the bed of the truck, with the ability to continue to use the truck bed to its full weight capacity.
