A prime example of over coming the
impossible is the Sandsaver technology, designed, manufactured
and patented by Granger Plastics.
The Sandsaver is the new natural alternative solution to Beach Re-nourishment and Beach Erosion. The module works in two ways; First by breaking down the kinetic energy of the wave, thus immediately reducing the erosion of the beach. Second by allowing the wave to pass thru the tapered holes and onto the beach surface. As the wave passes thru the tapered holes, the wave contains sand. When the water retreats, it must pass back thru the smaller of the two openings allowing the sand to settle onto the beach and not retreat back into the surf.
The Sandsaver features:
-Promotes beach accretion, while preventing beach erosion
- Rotationally molded from FDA approved Food Grade Polyethylene
- Modular design for simple installation, no chains or tethering system needed
